We are pleased to introduce you to our new CAD / CAM technician, Alex Lindley
Alex chose to further his enthusiasm for engineering by studying mechanical engineering at college, with a particular focus on CNC 3D Modelling using SolidWorks. Following this, he moved on to study Product Design at university, which included periods of valuable hands-on experience within the manufacturing sector.
Outside of his time studying, Alex continued to build on his knowledge, working on his own designs and even creating his own products using simple casting and 3D printing processes.
Alex’s role gives him the opportunity to see a project through every phase of production from initial design work through to working closely with the shop-floor team in the final manufacture of finished products.
