We were recently approached by a client with an image for a custom stainless-steel sign. With limited data beyond the original drawing, our team knew this project would require precision, creativity, and clear communication to ensure success. During the initial stages we engaged closely with the client, exploring key aspects like size, use, and presentation to ensure the final product would exceed expectations. Once we fully understood the client’s needs, the next challenge was to develop a DXF from the initial image, ready for manufacturing.
Stage Two: From Concept to CAD
While the concept may have seemed straightforward, creating a presentable and production-ready DXF required careful attention to detail. However, within a few hours, our team had produced the initial design to present to the client. At this point, we discussed important considerations like material thickness, application, and the final product’s overall appearance, ensuring every aspect aligned with the client’s vision.
Stage Three: Creating the Finished Product
Every detail, from the material thickness to the polished finish, was executed with care to ensure the final product reflected the client’s vision. Once the manufacturing process was complete, we shared an image of the finished sign with the client. They were delighted to see their idea realised and couldn’t wait to showcase the completed sign within their manufacturing facility.
