We are excited to announce that Cutting Edge Laser is now a Gold member of Made in Yorkshire. Over the past year, being part of the Made in Yorkshire community has delivered real value to our business. From strengthening our regional network to increasing our visibility within the manufacturing sector, the experience has reinforced the importance of collaboration and connection across Yorkshire’s manufacturing community.
Upgrading to Gold membership felt like a natural next step.
The enhanced visibility, improved branding opportunities, and greater access to events and peer groups that come with Gold membership align closely with our growth ambitions. As a business, we’re keen to play a more active role within the network — not just as participants, but as contributors — sharing insight, building relationships, and supporting the wider manufacturing community.
As Sales Manager Pierino Vatta explains:
“Since joining in June last year, we’ve built meaningful connections with other manufacturers and service providers across the region. The factory tours and events have opened conversations and connections with key individuals we wouldn’t otherwise have had, leading to collaborative opportunities and valuable knowledge sharing.
“Since joining in June last year, we’ve built meaningful connections with other manufacturers and service providers across the region. The factory tours and events have opened conversations and connections with key individuals we wouldn’t otherwise have had, leading to collaborative opportunities and valuable knowledge sharing.
There’s also been a clear uplift in brand exposure both online and at the in-person events, which has helped position us more strongly within the Yorkshire manufacturing community. The combination of peer support, visibility, and commercial opportunities made upgrading an easy decision.”
We’re also pleased to have secured our space at this year’s Made in Yorkshire Expo, one of the highlights of the regional manufacturing calendar. Being able to plan ahead and ensure maximum visibility at such a key event is an exciting opportunity for us to showcase what we do, reconnect with familiar faces, and start new conversations with businesses we haven’t yet worked with.
Booking early gives us the time to bring the right team, deliver clear messaging, and focus on defined objectives for the day. Following last year’s event, we gained valuable insight into market trends and the challenges facing UK manufacturers, alongside new opportunities to support our partners with their manufacturing objectives. That experience reinforced just how important events like the Expo are for driving collaboration and growth across the sector.
We’re looking forward to building on that momentum this year and continuing to play an active role within the Made in Yorkshire community.
